Uncovering the Emotional Roots to Illness

Five years ago, I would have immediately dismissed that my emotions could be impacting my physical health.

I was in the middle of dealing with severe mercury toxicity, reacting to almost every single food, had been recently harmed from unsafe supplementation recommended by a functional medicine practice resulting in a massive setback in my healing. I was generally convinced all my problems had purely physical roots. I was researching with a vengeance, exploring protocols and restrictive diets, listening to podcasts, reading studies, attending the online summits, and following all the alternative docs, determined to find a way out.

I recognized that physical causes (like toxicity) could influence my emotions, but I wasn't ready to recognize that my emotions could influence my physical health.

I view things very differently now. I do, of course, still acknowledge that the physical stuff matters. But there is a much bigger picture to understand when it comes to our health and wellness…

After struggling with severe mental and physical health issues starting from my earliest memories, I began a quest to find the health I knew I was lacking.

Many years later, after multiple certifications, hundreds of books and podcasts, thousands of hours of research, dozens of clients, and a whole lot of experimenting on myself, I continue to find health beyond my wildest dreams and help others to achieve their own goals. It just keeps getting better.

I firmly believe that our health (or lack thereof) is rooted in both the physical and the emotional. What we eat and our toxic load matter, but there is SO much more to health!
